Taking Care of Your Teeth

Preventive Dentistry

Preventive Dentistry is the best dentistry. We recommend patients brush twice a day at a minimum. A soft or electric toothbrush is best as a medium or hard brush will only wear away your gums faster. The proper brushing time is 2 minutes total. Also to maintain healthy gums, flossing once a night is a must. Don’t be shy to ask about proper brushing or flossing techniques. We can show you step by step how to properly brush and floss to make sure you are efficiently keeping everything nice and clean.

Mouthwash can also help keep everything nice and fresh.

Waterpik Water Flosser

Despite the fact that virtually everyone brushes their teeth, half of all Americans have gum disease. Clinical research confirms that the Waterpik® Water Flosser is significantly more effective than string floss, interdental brushes and air floss for removing plaque and
improving gum health. That’s why it is the #1 choice among dental professionals. If you have Implants, Crowns, Bridges, Braces, or other dental work, the Waterpik® Water Flosser is essential.
